Adjective Clause
Adjective Clause adalah dependent clause yang merubah noun (kata benda) berfungsi menjelaskan,mengidentifikasi atau memberikan informasi lebih terperinci tentang noun
Contoh : (a) I thanked the woman
(b) She helped me
Bentuknya menjadi : I thanked the woman who helped me
Penjelasannya : I thanked the woman = Independent Clause
who helped me = Adjective Clause
Adjective clause merubah noun woman.
Pronoun (kata ganti) yang digunakan tidak tergantung hanya pada who penggunan pronoun juga terkait dengan subyek yang terdapat pada Dependent Clause.Berikut ini pronoun yang jamak digunakan
Who/that = for Human subject
Which = for Noun subject
Whose = for Possesive form subject (ex:his,her)
Where = for adverb of place
When = for adverb of time
